Catering Collective has announced the appointment of Aloka Shhejwadkarr as Director of Sales (Celebrations), strengthening the leadership team of the K Hospitality-owned company as it accelerates its expansion in India’s rapidly growing luxury weddings and celebrations catering market.
The appointment comes at a time when India’s premium events industry is witnessing strong year-on-year growth. Catering Collective continues to scale its catering and venues portfolio across key cities, with a sharper focus on premium and ultra-premium social celebrations and experiential events catering—segments seeing rising demand from both domestic and international clients.
Aloka Shhejwadkarr brings over 19 years of experience in the hospitality industry, having worked with leading luxury hotel brands including Hyatt Regency Mumbai, Grand Hyatt Mumbai, and Fairmont Mumbai. Her career spans events management, customer engagement, strategic planning, and people leadership, with consistent contributions to revenue growth and operational excellence in high-volume, high-stakes environments.
In her new role as Director of Sales (Celebrations), Aloka will play a key role in shaping Catering Collective’s vision for luxury weddings and social celebrations across India. Along with leading the national sales function, she will focus on strengthening client relationships, driving strategic business growth, and fostering a sales culture built on empathy, trust, and consistency.
She will also oversee the expansion of the company’s celebrations portfolio across key markets, lead high-performing sales teams, and work towards creating a seamless sales-to-execution pipeline while optimising processes and deepening the brand’s presence in the premium and ultra-premium celebrations segment.
