India Energy Week 2026 commenced at ONGC ATI, Goa, under the patronage of the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas, Government of India, marking a record-breaking edition of one of the world’s fastest-growing energy events. Delivered by dmg events in collaboration with the Federation of Indian Petroleum Industry (FIPI) and partners, the four-day platform brought together global policymakers, industry leaders, innovators and investors to chart the future of energy systems at a time of heightened geopolitical uncertainty and accelerating climate action.
Positioned as one of the most influential global forums on energy security, affordability, accessibility and decarbonisation, the event convened over 6,500 delegates. At its core were the Strategic and Technical Conferences, featuring more than 550 speakers across 110+ sessions, alongside a dynamic exhibition floor reflecting the scale and ambition of India’s evolving energy landscape.
The Strategic Conference, spread across four days, was structured around four thematic theatres—Collaboration, Resilience, Transition and Addition—enabling high-level dialogue on building secure, inclusive and future-ready energy systems for India, the Global South and the wider global economy.
According to the organisers, deliberations focused on ten core themes including energy leadership, equity, investment, innovation, resilience and workforce development, highlighting the growing convergence of policy, finance, technology and sustainability in shaping the global energy transition.
With ministerial sessions, leadership panels, spotlight discussions and one-on-one energy talks, India Energy Week 2026 reflected India’s growing role in the global energy system and reinforced the event’s expanding influence, relevance and international reach under dmg events’ stewardship.
