Karnataka Tourism Society to Host Central India B2B Roadshow Series Across Five Cities from Jan 27 to 31

The Karnataka Tourism Society (KTS) has announced its upcoming Central India B2B Roadshow Series, scheduled from 27th to 31st January 2026, across five key cities, including Indore, Nagpur, Aurangabad, Nashik, and Pune. The initiative aims to strengthen tourism partnerships, expand Karnataka’s market presence, and showcase the state’s diverse tourism offerings, ranging from heritage and culture to ecotourism, wellness, and adventure.

The roadshow will take place in Indore on 27th January, Nagpur on 28th January, Aurangabad on 29th January, Nashik on 30th January, and Pune on 31st January. It will feature interactive sessions and networking opportunities for travel trade stakeholders. The series is being organized with support from the Ministry of Tourism, Government of India; the Department of Tourism, Government of Karnataka; Mysore Sales International Ltd (MSIL); Jungle Lodges & Resorts Ltd (JLR); and the Karnataka State Tourism Development Corporation (KSTDC), along with leading hotel chains, resorts, tour operators, and destination management companies.

Commenting on the initiative, K. Syama Raju, President, Karnataka Tourism Society, said, “This Central India Roadshow Series is a landmark initiative for Karnataka Tourism Society. By engaging directly with the travel trade in Indore, Nagpur, Aurangabad, Nashik, and Pune, we are building bridges of collaboration and showcasing Karnataka’s unmatched diversity. With the support of our partners and leading hospitality brands, we are confident of creating new pathways for sustainable tourism growth.”

Mohamed Farouk, Regional Director, Indiatourism West & Central, added, “India Tourism Mumbai is proud to support KTS in this endeavour. The Central India B2B Roadshow embodies the spirit of ‘Dekho Apna Desh’ by encouraging domestic travel and highlighting Karnataka’s rich heritage, natural beauty, and adventure experiences. With strong partnerships across government and private stakeholders, such initiatives strengthen regional connectivity and contribute to positioning India as a year-round destination for global travellers.”

The announcement comes on the back of KTS’s recently concluded Destination Promotion B2B Roadshows across four southern cities, including Coimbatore (25th Nov), Cochin (26th Nov), Madurai (27th Nov), and Salem (28th Nov). The Southern roadshows recorded participation from 42 stakeholders and received a strong response from over 500 buyers. These were supported by India Tourism Southern Region, the Department of Tourism, Government of Karnataka, Karnataka State Tourism Development Corporation, Jungle Lodges & Resorts Ltd., and the South India Hotels and Restaurants Association.

Building on the momentum, KTS is preparing a series of upcoming initiatives, including the Explore Bidar & Kalburgi Destination Orientation Programme, the Discover Bidar FAM Tour, a Guide Training Programme at Bidar under the Capacity Building Activity, and the Discover Chikmagalur Standalone B2B Event aimed at promoting coffee country and eco-tourism circuits.

With strong institutional partnerships and active participation from stakeholders, the Central India B2B Roadshow Series is expected to draw significant engagement from tour operators, travel agents, and hospitality professionals. The initiative reinforces Karnataka’s focus on innovative and inclusive tourism promotion while opening doors for future collaborations and destination development.
