FIFA World Cup 2026 Trophy Tour by Coca-Cola drew 10,000+ fans in Guwahati and delivered high-energy stadium experience

After an electrifying two-day celebration in Delhi, the FIFA World Cup 2026 Trophy Tour by Coca-Cola continued its India journey in Guwahati, where more than 10,000 fans gathered at the Barsapara Stadium. As part of the Trophy Tour, Redknot Marketing Solutions also organized the Guwahati leg in collaboration with The Coca-Cola Company, with Managing Director Gaurav Arora, who was personally involved in overseeing operations and planning, working closely with Coca-Cola to deliver what has been described as one of the most talked-about experiential events in recent times.

Despite coinciding with Magh Bihu festivities, the Guwahati leg recorded robust public participation, reflecting the region’s deep-rooted football culture and sustained interest in the sport.

“Handling the FIFA trophy tour alongside Coke Studio Bharat LIVE at the same venue was a big challenge for any agency, but Redknot is known for seamless operations and execution and high-quality output. We brought in innovations like front-panel LED branding—rarely used in India—used strategically for logo placement, and built the best team by picking top industry talent across LED, content, production and show running to deliver one of the most viral and talked-about events of recent times,” said Gaurav.

Fan zones and stadium-wide engagement

The Barsapara Stadium venue was activated as a full-fledged fan experience with trophy viewing, football engagement zones and activity-led installations. Food counters and open social spaces encouraged visitors to spend the day at the venue, turning the showcase into a vibrant football carnival.

Trophy unveiled during Coke Studio Bharat LIVE concert

The celebrations culminated with Coke Studio Bharat LIVE, featuring performances by Anoushka Maskey, Rito Riba, Shankuraj and Anuv Jain, delivering a high-energy musical close to the day.

The key highlight came when the FIFA World Cup Trophy was unveiled on stage during the CSBL concert, in the presence of sports broadcaster Boria Majumdar, Smt. Nandita Gorlosa, Minister for Sports & Youth Welfare, Welfare of Minorities, and Development in the Government of Assam, and Former Brazil international and FIFA World Cup winner Gilberto Silva creating one of the biggest moments of the night.

Later, addressing the gathering, Gilberto Silva applauded the passion of Indian football fans, noting that the warmth and electric energy in Guwahati showcased the country’s deep-rooted love for the sport.

Adding an emotional cultural touch, the artists also paid tribute to late singer-composer Zubeen Garg.

The Final Whistle

With a strong turnout and a stadium-wide blend of sport, music and culture, the Guwahati chapter of the FIFA World Cup 2026 Trophy Tour by Coca-Cola underlined the growing momentum for large-format fan experiences in India. From immersive football zones to a headline trophy reveal during Coke Studio Bharat LIVE, the event positioned Guwahati not just as a host city, but as a passionate football hub ready for global-scale sporting celebrations.
