Airtel Business has announced the elevation of Shreyas Mehrotra to the role of Chief Marketing Officer and Head of Digital Sales, strengthening its leadership as the enterprise arm sharpens focus on integrated marketing and digital-led growth.
In his expanded mandate, Mehrotra will oversee brand and marketing strategy while driving the evolution of digital sales channels across Airtel Business’ portfolio. The move brings together marketing leadership and digital commerce under a unified vision, reflecting the growing importance of technology-driven engagement in the B2B space.
Mehrotra has been associated with the Airtel ecosystem for several years and has played a key role in shaping marketing initiatives across both consumer and enterprise segments. Most recently, he led the marketing function at Airtel Business, where he worked on brand positioning, customer experience, and growth strategy aligned with the organisation’s enterprise ambitions.
Prior to this elevation, Mehrotra held leadership roles across multiple verticals within Bharti Airtel, including responsibilities spanning category strategy and converged offerings. His experience within the organisation has given him a broad perspective on building scalable marketing frameworks across diverse customer segments.
Beyond Airtel, Mehrotra brings experience from roles across telecom, FMCG, digital platforms and consulting organisations. His professional journey includes stints where he has worked on brand-building, go-to-market strategies and digital transformation initiatives — skills that align closely with the evolving needs of enterprise customers.
As part of his new role, Mehrotra will also contribute to marketing leadership across allied enterprise brands within the Airtel Business ecosystem, with a focus on strengthening digital engagement and driving demand through data-led sales approaches.
With this elevation, Airtel Business signals its intent to accelerate growth by aligning brand strategy closely with digital sales execution, positioning the company for the next phase of enterprise-led expansion.
