The Westin Jaipur Kant Kalwar Resort & Spa has announced the appointment of Kamaljit Singh as its new General Manager, marking a significant leadership milestone for the luxury resort. The appointment coincides with Marriott International celebrating the opening of its 200th property in India.
An alumnus of S.C.H.M. Mangalore, Kamaljit Singh brings with him extensive experience across global luxury hospitality brands, having worked in diverse environments ranging from urban hotels to complex resort destinations. Known for his people-first leadership approach, he has built a reputation for driving operational excellence, revenue growth, and strong employer branding, while seamlessly blending international standards with local cultural sensibilities.
In his new role, Singh will lead the strategic direction of the resort, with a focus on Westin’s core pillars of wellbeing and intuitive service. His mandate includes strengthening the property’s positioning as a leading luxury and wellness destination in Rajasthan.
Under his leadership, the resort aims to present a distinctive “Westin lens” on Jaipur by integrating the region’s rich cultural heritage with holistic wellbeing experiences. Guests can expect curated offerings ranging from signature therapies at the Heavenly Spa to immersive experiences in the serene Aravalli landscape, along with authentic regional cuisine at Ira, the resort’s Indian specialty restaurant.
