Samsung India appoints Riya Suri as Chief Marketing Manager

Samsung India has appointed Riya Suri as its new Chief Marketing Manager, strengthening its marketing leadership as the brand sharpens its digital and smartphone-focused initiatives. Riya joins Samsung after close to four years at Vivo India.

In her new role, Riya will lead digital marketing and integrated campaign execution for Samsung India, with a key focus on smartphone launches and brand-building. Her mandate includes overseeing end-to-end campaign delivery across platforms, shaping consumer narratives around product innovation and technology, and collaborating closely with internal stakeholders and agency partners to ensure consistent, high-impact outputs. Performance optimisation and data-led insights will form a core part of her responsibilities.

Prior to Samsung, Riya spent over three years at vivo India, where she grew from Assistant Manager to Manager. During her tenure, she led product PR and crisis communication across multiple product categories, built relationships with over 300 key opinion leaders and technology media professionals, and partnered with consumer insights teams to strengthen brand salience. She also worked closely with agencies and cross-functional teams on integrated product and launch campaigns.

Earlier, Riya was associated with Cheil India for over three and a half years, most recently as Account Supervisor and Influencer Marketing Lead. Her responsibilities spanned campaign strategy, digital performance marketing, influencer and creator-led initiatives, content marketing and media planning. She also played a key role in developing long-term creator advocacy platforms, including the Samsung Galaxy Creators Program.

With experience across both agency and brand-side roles, and exposure to leading consumer technology brands, Riya brings a strong blend of digital, influencer-led and performance-driven marketing expertise to her leadership role at Samsung India.
