The Global Maitri Festival 2025 is set to return as a large-scale cultural and spiritual gathering celebrating India’s living heritage, collective harmony, and spirit of service. Rooted in the values of Sanskriti, Maitri Bhaav, and Seva Bhaav, the festival will bring together thought leaders, policymakers, cultural icons, and citizens from across the country for a shared experience of unity and reflection.
This year’s celebration will be attended by several eminent dignitaries, including Arjun Meghwal, Union Minister of Law and Justice; Prataprao Jadhav, Union Minister of AYUSH, Health and Family Welfare; and Eknath Shinde, Deputy Chief Minister of Maharashtra. The cultural dimension of the festival will be further elevated by the presence of veteran film personalities such as Jackie Shroff, Smita Jaykar, and Kajal Aggarwal.
The Global Maitri Festival is also honoured to partner with the Maitri Cultural Economy Summit as its Cultural Partner for 2025. Through this collaboration, culture will take centre stage with a specially curated performance designed to highlight India’s unique civilisational identity, celebrate its diverse traditions, and contribute to the revival of the nation’s rich cultural heritage on an unprecedented scale.
Each edition of the festival reflects Bharat’s inclusive ethos and the timeless philosophy of Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam. Guided by the physical presence of Maitreya Dadashreeji, Visionary of the Festival and Founder of MaitriBodh Parivaar, the event derives its depth and purpose from his leadership. The 2025 edition is anchored around the theme Ek Bharat Hum Bharat, underscoring unity and shared identity at a time when collective consciousness and social cohesion are increasingly vital.
The festival will also spotlight four transformative initiatives aimed at long-term social reform. These include Maitri Adarsh Gram for rural development; Chinta Mukt Bharat 2032, a national initiative focused on mental and emotional well-being; Yuva Parivartan for youth development; and the Vishwa Shanti Maha Yagnya, organised in association with Akhil Vishwa Gayatri Parivaar to promote global peace and harmony.
A key highlight of the Global Maitri Festival remains the annual address by Maitreya Dadashreeji, which offers guidance and inspiration to help individuals address mental health challenges and approach the year ahead with clarity, resilience, and inner strength.
The Global Maitri Festival 2025 stands as a collective call to reconnect with shared values, strengthen social harmony, and move forward together with purpose—reaffirming the belief that true progress begins with inner well-being, cultural consciousness, and unity in action.
