Red Bull Solo Legends: Harsh Malik Crowned Champion of India’s Biggest Solo BGMI Tournament

Red Bull Solo Legends, India’s largest-ever solo Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI) tournament, concluded with a landmark finale as Harsh Malik, popularly known as Spraygod, clinched the championship title. The grand LAN finale took place at Mumbai’s iconic Royal Opera House, marking the first time the historic venue hosted an esports event. A full-house audience witnessed the action live, while the event garnered over 811,000 views across multiple YouTube livestreams.

The National Finals featured 64 of India’s top solo BGMI players, comprising 32 regional qualifiers, 24 invited pros, and 8 Chaos Agents introduced to elevate unpredictability. Prominent esports athletes—including Jonathan Amaral (Jonathan Gaming), Tanishk Singh (Admino), Rudra B (Spower), Sahil Jakhar (Omega), and Sohail Shaikh (Hector)—were among the invited competitors. The Chaos Agents, including Aman Jain (Aman), Chetan Chandgude (Kronten), Deepanshi Rawat (Dobby), Mahek Syed (Mizo), and others, added strategic complexity that intensified the showdown.

The scoring system rewarded both placement and eliminations, offering up to 20 points for a first-place finish, alongside bonus points for knocking out Chaos Agents. Across three intense matches, Spraygod showcased exceptional consistency and game sense, amassing 39 points with 12 finishes to emerge as India’s first-ever Red Bull Solo Legend. Amaan Shaikh (Skipz) and Mohammad Raja (Manya) followed in second place with 30 points each, while Saumya Raj (Saumraj) and Meghraj Jaat (Godz) finished third with 27 points apiece. As part of his victory, Spraygod also earned an international Red Bull Racing experience.

“Winning Red Bull Solo Legends feels unreal. This tournament tested every aspect of my gameplay because it was a unique format and not something we usually play. Competing against some of India’s best players on a stage as iconic as the Royal Opera House is something I will always remember. I am grateful to Red Bull for the opportunity and incredibly happy to be crowned India’s first Solo Legend,” said Harsh Malik aka Spraygod.

The tournament saw over 10,000 solo players participate in a multi-stage format that began with online regional qualifiers from November 5 to 16, followed by regional finals from November 20 to 23. The top eight players from each zone advanced to the National Finals.

With its pure solo format placing complete responsibility on individual players, Red Bull Solo Legends set a new benchmark for competitive BGMI in India. By hosting the finale at one of the country’s most notable cultural venues, the tournament underscored the growing cultural prominence of gaming and esports in the nation.
