Badshah to Become First Indian Rapper to Headline The O2 with Debut Concert in March 2026

In a landmark breakthrough for Indian hip hop on the global stage, multi-platinum rapper, singer-songwriter, and producer Badshah has announced his debut headline concert at The O2, London, set for 22 March 2026. The one-night-only spectacle, produced and promoted by TCO Group in partnership with TM Ventures and Rock On Music, marks Badshah as the first Indian rapper to ever headline a full-scale production at the iconic arena.

The announcement follows a memorable moment in 2024 when Badshah made a surprise appearance during Diljit Dosanjh’s Dil-Luminati Tour at The O2, performing Naina and publicly expressing his dream of headlining the venue—an ambition now turning into reality.

Badshah’s growing imprint in the UK has been evident over recent years. In December 2023, he became the first Indian rapper to sell out the OVO Arena Wembley during his multi-city UK tour, solidifying his popularity and expanding international fanbase.

While Indian musical legends such as A. R. Rahman, Arijit Singh, Diljit Dosanjh, and Sid Sriram have previously graced The O2, Badshah now joins the elite league of global icons—Beyoncé, Adele, Bon Jovi, Justin Bieber, Katy Perry, Elton John, Kylie Minogue, Madonna, and Burna Boy—who have headlined the arena.

The upcoming concert promises an immersive, large-scale production, featuring an expansive three-hour set of chart-topping hits, cult anthems, and new releases from Badshah’s celebrated catalogue. With state-of-the-art visuals and staging, the event is expected to draw over 15,000 fans, marking a major cultural milestone for Indian hip hop.

Reflecting on the achievement, Badshah said, “Headlining The O2 is more than a milestone — it’s a dream I’ve carried for years. Desi hip hop belongs on the global stage, and this show is our declaration. London, we’re about to make history together — louder, prouder and bigger than ever. 22nd March 2026 will be a night we remember forever.”

Neal Karia, Managing Director, TCO Group, added, “This concert is a historic milestone for South Asian music globally. Badshah leading The O2 demonstrates the scale, ambition and global appeal of Indian music. It’s a celebration of talent, culture and the movement Badshah has built over generations.”

Alaap Gosher, Co-Founder & Director, TM Ventures, commented, “Badshah performing at the O2 Arena is a defining milestone for Indian hip-hop. He has worked tirelessly, reinvented himself time and again, and built a deep connection with fans across the world. This moment is a celebration of his journey, his courage, and his belief in Indian hip-hop. At TM Ventures, we’re committed to scaling these opportunities and taking our artists to the world’s biggest stages.”

Badshah’s O2 debut comes on the heels of a remarkable year in his career. He became the first Indian rapper—and only the second Asian soloist—to surpass 5 billion Spotify streams across all credits. He also headlined the largest-ever sold-out Indian hip hop tour across North America. Beyond music, he launched two ventures—Badboy Pizza and Shelter 6—and partnered with MAYBACH Eyewear on a global limited-edition collection, becoming the first Indian artist to co-design with the luxury brand. Musically, he made his international film-scoring debut with Ali El Arabi’s 52 Blue and recently released Wallah Wallah featuring Afrobeats star Davido.

Tickets for the concert will be available exclusively via Ticketmaster.co.uk and AXS.com. Artist presale begins on 9 December 2025 at 10 am GMT, followed by the general sale on 12 December 2025 at 10 am BST. O2 and Virgin Media broadband customers will have priority access more than 48 hours ahead of the general release.

Badshah’s O2 debut underscores the accelerating global momentum of Indian hip hop and signals the genre’s readiness to take centre stage on the world’s most prestigious platforms.
