From the very first conversation, the brief was clear: create an evening that honors our martyrs with dignity, sensitivity, and national pride. What convinced the organizers was our track record with high-stakes national events and our team’s ability to handle both the emotional responsibility and the technical complexity. They knew we would treat the ceremony not just as an event, but as a duty.
Transforming the Gateway of India into a space of remembrance, unity, and reflection is no small feat. What were the biggest logistical and creative challenges your team faced while setting up everything from infrastructure to projection mapping?
The Gateway of India is an iconic, high-footfall location. Managing permissions, crowd flow, and structural limitations while still delivering a powerful visual story was our biggest challenge. Creatively, the goal was to transform the space without overwhelming it, merging projection mapping, lighting, and physical design in a way that felt respectful, not theatrical.
An event of this scale brings together dignitaries, national leaders, artists, and everyday citizens—each with their own protocols and expectations. How did DNA ensure the evening felt seamless for guests while still honoring the solemnity of the cause?
For an audience that ranged from senior leaders to families of martyrs, the experience had to be seamless, dignified, and deeply personal. We built separate movement plans, hospitality flows, and security protocols for each group, while ensuring the ceremony’s emotional core remained intact. Our team’s discipline and coordination kept the evening precise, while the storytelling kept it human.
Technical production—sound, lighting, LED systems, and power distribution—can make or break an event of this scale. How did your team manage these high-pressure components on-ground, and what key technologies, equipment, or partner brands did you use to deliver a flawless experience?
