In a landmark development for Indian cycling, Bajaj Auto Limited, in partnership with the Pune District and the Government of Maharashtra, has been announced as the Title Sponsor of the Pune Grand Tour—India’s first-ever UCI 2.2 approved, multi-day, multi-stage international cycling road race.
Conceptualised by the Pune District Collector and backed by the state government, the Bajaj Pune Grand Tour marks India’s formal entry into the global UCI 2.2 cycling circuit. The four-stage race will take place from 19–23 January 2026 under the aegis of the Cycling Federation of India (CFI), Asian Cycling Confederation (ACC), and the Union Cycliste Internationale (UCI).
This multi-year association aligns one of the world’s leading two- and three-wheeler manufacturers with a rapidly growing international sport. The partnership reflects shared commitments to innovation, exploration, and high-performance excellence.

The Bajaj Pune Grand Tour 2026 will bring together continental teams and national federations for a 437-kilometre, four-stage race, positioning Pune—and India—firmly on the global competitive cycling map and advancing the nation’s ambitions as a rising sporting destination.
