Women of Music India Announces Second Edition of PWR Pose in Mumbai, Spotlighting the Future of Music and Creative Culture

Women of Music India (WoMI), the not-for-profit initiative founded by leading media advisor and entrepreneur Priyanka Khimani, is set to host the second edition of its flagship experience PWR Pose in Mumbai on November 28, 2025.

PWR Pose is WoMI’s signature identity- and confidence-building platform designed for women in the music ecosystem — including artists, creators, and music business executives. The initiative focuses on visibility, self-expression, and community belonging, offering professional headshots, personalised styling support, and an empowering environment that encourages participants to embrace their most authentic selves.

Following a highly impactful debut in 2024, PWR Pose 2.0 widens its scope by welcoming young talent — both boys and girls — from underserved and diverse socio-economic backgrounds. The expanded edition aims to provide these aspiring creatives with access to professional photography, exposure to industry environments, creative mentorship, and opportunities to build confidence and aspiration.

The 2025 edition will bring together emerging artists, executives, creators, young future leaders, and industry allies for a day of curated photography sessions, glam teams, mentoring interactions, and community-led storytelling. The focus remains on spotlighting a broad spectrum of talent across creative, executive, and cultural production roles within India’s fast-evolving music and entertainment landscape.

“This year, PWR Pose is opening its doors wider. By partnering with non-profit organisations, we’re welcoming young talent from marginalised and under-represented communities, many of whom have never had access to spaces like this. Our goal is simple: to make confidence, visibility, and opportunity accessible to those who deserve to be seen, heard, and supported as they step into creative careers,” said Priyanka Khimani, Founder, WoMI.

WoMI has partnered with key NGO collaborators across Mumbai—including The Dharavi Dream Project and The Sound Space — to ensure meaningful access and a wider pipeline of emerging talent for this year’s edition. PWR Pose forms an integral part of WoMI’s broader mission to build pathways, representation, mentorship, and long-term opportunities for Indian-origin talent across the global music industry.

With its core message, “Come for the shoot. Stay for the sisterhood,” PWR Pose continues to stand as a movement rooted in access, representation, and collective upliftment.
