The Event and Entertainment Management Association (EEMA) underscored the rising relevance of industry-wide collaboration at Soundscapes of India – Season 2, presented by IPRS in partnership with MusiConnect India. Representing the live events and experiential sector, EEMA spotlighted the growing need for synergy between event curation and music creation in an evolving creative landscape.
Ankur Kalra, General Secretary of EEMA, stressed the importance of transparency, fairness, and parity in music licensing—principles he described as essential to strengthening India’s creative economy and ensuring rightful value for every stakeholder involved.
