Dunk Street Festival Returns with 3rd Edition, Set to Become India’s Biggest Urban Basketball Celebration

The Dunk Street Festival (DSF) makes a power-packed comeback with its third edition, gearing up to transform Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium into India’s ultimate hub for basketball and street culture on November 15th and 16th. What began as a modest gathering of hoop enthusiasts has now evolved into one of the country’s largest mass-participative basketball events.

This year, DSF is expected to bring together more than 3,000 participants, doubling its growth trajectory from 2023 and 2024. The festival continues to be built around the high-energy 3×3 basketball format, promising an action-heavy weekend featuring back-to-back matches, an electrifying Dunk Showdown, and dynamic on-court performances that keep the momentum alive throughout the two days.

With 100+ teams from colleges, academies, and local clubs, the festival will host matches across multiple categories, including Under 16, Under 19, Open (Men & Women), and the crowd-favourite Legends Category (40+). Beyond the court, fans can look forward to live music acts, entertainment zones, streetwear pop-ups, and F&B stalls serving Delhi’s most-loved local flavours.

“Dunk Street Festival is more than just competition; it’s about the culture and community that surround the game,” said Anand Kanwar, Co-Founder, Artkonnect Management.

The 2025 edition is powered by Red Bull as an associate partner and will feature custom team jerseys, prize money, and an atmosphere that blends sport, music, and street style—making it the most electrifying edition yet. More than 2,000 spectators are expected to cheer courtside, adding to the high-octane environment.
