Punjab Showcases Investment Potential at Hyderabad Roadshow Ahead of Progressive Punjab Investors’ Summit 2026

In the run-up to the Progressive Punjab Investors’ Summit 2026, the Government of Punjab organized a high-level roadshow in Hyderabad, led by Industries & Commerce Minister Sanjeev Arora, to attract investments and forge new industrial partnerships. The event, hosted by Invest Punjab at Banjara Hills, aimed to engage leading industrialists and investors from Hyderabad in Punjab’s evolving growth story.

Highlighting the state’s transformation into a preferred business destination, the Minister emphasized Punjab’s proactive governance, unified policies, and FastTrack Punjab Portal, one of India’s most advanced single-window clearance systems.

“Punjab is committed to offering a transparent, facilitative ecosystem for investors. The state has already attracted ₹1.37 lakh crore in investments, creating over half a million employment opportunities,” said Sanjeev, inviting Hyderabad’s entrepreneurs to join Punjab’s journey toward sustainable and inclusive development.

The delegation held one-on-one meetings with prominent companies including Ceph Life Sciences, Vibrant Energy, ICFAI Foundation for Higher Education, TiE Global, Baba Group of Companies, Ellenbarrie Industrial Gases, Visakha Pharmacity (Ramky Group) and Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL). Discussions focused on strengthening industrial collaboration, with BEL exploring ways to onboard Punjab-based MSMEs to enhance its electronics manufacturing value chain.

The event also saw participation from industry leaders such as Dr. B. Partha Saradhi Reddy, Chairman of Hetero Group, who lauded Punjab’s transparent governance and potential in the pharmaceutical sector, and Prof. Dulal Panda, Director of NIPER Mohali, who highlighted the synergy between research, innovation, and entrepreneurship in the state.

Abhijit Banerjee, MD of Linde India, praised Punjab’s “advanced, paperless facilitation and stable infrastructure,” while Varun Surekha of Hartex remarked that “governance in Punjab works with you, not above you.”

Educational collaborations also took center stage, with Sudhakar Rao, Director of ICFAI Foundation, noting Punjab’s strong academic ecosystem, and Anirudh Gupta, CEO of DCM Group of Schools, announcing plans to develop the Zen Alpha School for Young Entrepreneurs in Ludhiana.

Reiterating the state’s commitment to investor facilitation, Arora shared details of recent reforms under the Right to Business Act, which ensure industrial approvals within five working days for units in approved parks and within forty-five days for others through the FastTrack Punjab Portal.

The Hyderabad roadshow follows similar successful engagements in Bengaluru, New Delhi, and Gurugram, strengthening Punjab’s positioning as North India’s most progressive and investor-friendly destination ahead of the Progressive Punjab Investors’ Summit 2026, scheduled for March 13–15 at ISB Mohali.
