In a landmark move for the sport, League Sports Co (LSC) has announced the launch of World Premier Squash (WPS) — a first-of-its-kind, team-based global squash league endorsed by World Squash and the Professional Squash Association (PSA).
Set to debut in August 2026 at an iconic venue soon to be revealed, WPS aims to redefine how the sport is played, viewed, and experienced worldwide. Built on LSC’s “innovation-first” framework, the league will combine elite athleticism with cutting-edge technology, gender balance, and new scoring formats — all designed to amplify fan engagement.
The new league will feature international franchises comprising some of the world’s top squash players, competing in a dynamic team format. Positioned under LSC’s FSP Games umbrella, World Premier Squash follows the company’s broader vision of developing aspirational sports properties that marry competition with accessibility and entertainment.
Leveraging experience from successful ventures like the World Bowling League—backed by sports icons such as Mookie Betts and Virat Kohli—and E1 Team Blue Rising in the electric boat racing series, LSC brings its forward-thinking model to elevate squash ahead of its return to the LA 2028 Olympics.
