The much-anticipated Holiday Expo – Visakhapatnam commenced today at RVR Conventions, Ram Nagar, Daspalla Hills, drawing an impressive turnout from travel enthusiasts, tourism professionals, and industry stakeholders. The two-day event, scheduled for November 7–8, serves as a premier platform connecting the travel trade with holiday seekers, showcasing a comprehensive array of destinations and travel services from across India and abroad.
The expo was inaugurated by Smt. Ekta Kabra of Rajasthan Tourism, who lit the ceremonial lamp to mark the formal opening. The inaugural ceremony was graced by distinguished guests of honour — K. Vijaymohan, President, Tours and Travels Association of Andhra (TTAA); Mr. Pavan Kartheek, President, Hotel and Restaurant Association of Andhra Pradesh; and Ravi Kumar, President, Andhra Pradesh Event Management Association.
Speaking on the occasion, Dilip Biswas, Director, Holiday Expo, emphasized the growing importance of Visakhapatnam as an emerging tourism hub. “Visakhapatnam has established itself as one of India’s most promising tourism markets, attracting increasing interest from both leisure and business travellers. Through Holiday Expo, we aim to create a dynamic marketplace that inspires new travel ideas, partnerships, and experiences for visitors and the industry alike,” he stated.
The 2025 edition of the expo features extensive participation from Rajasthan Tourism, Jammu & Kashmir, Tamil Nadu, Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, and Karnataka, alongside several prominent travel operators, airlines, and hospitality brands. Exhibitors are presenting a diverse range of offerings, including domestic and international travel packages, cruises, hotels, and travel technology solutions.
Visitors can explore exclusive deals from airlines, resorts, and tour operators, making the expo an ideal destination for planning their upcoming vacations.
Following the Visakhapatnam edition, the next Holiday Expo will be held in Coimbatore on January 23–24, 2026, continuing its mission to promote travel and tourism across India.
