Pitbull Cancels India Leg of “I’m Back” Tour Citing “Operational Issues”

Grammy-winning rapper Pitbull has cancelled the India dates of his much-publicised I’m Back tour, organisers confirmed this week, blaming unspecified “operational constraints.” The two concerts — scheduled for December 6 at HUDA Grounds, Gurugram, and December 8 at Ramoji Film City, Hyderabad — will no longer take place.

BookMyShow, the ticketing and promotions partner for the India shows, told media outlets that it had informed all ticket-holders via SMS, email, and WhatsApp and that refunds would be processed automatically within 8–10 working days. “We regret to share that Pitbull’s I’m Back Tour in India… has been cancelled, owing to operational constraints,” the statement read.

The announcement comes less than two weeks after the India leg was first announced and shortly after tickets went on sale. Fans who had already made travel and lodging plans expressed frustration and disappointment across social platforms, with several users calling the late cancellation “a shame” and criticising the timing of the decision.

Local media coverage said the cancellation was communicated to buyers immediately after organisers reviewed logistical arrangements, but neither BookMyShow nor Pitbull’s management provided further details about the specific operational problems that led to the decision. No replacement dates or a rescheduled India leg have been announced so far.

The India cancellations affect only the two-city swing: reports note Pitbull is still slated to perform elsewhere on his global itinerary, including a scheduled show in Bahrain on December 11. Organisers have urged ticket-holders to wait for email or WhatsApp notifications about refund timelines and to contact BookMyShow customer support if they do not receive confirmation.
