The annual literary festival Sahitya Aaj Tak is set to return to New Delhi from 21 to 23 November 2025 at the Major Dhyan Chand National Stadium. The three-day event will feature a diverse lineup of authors, poets, musicians, and cultural performers, celebrating India’s literary and artistic heritage.

The festival will host events across three stages, offering a mix of poetry recitals, literary discussions, folk music, and theatrical performances. Opening Day Highlights – 21 November

  • Stage 1 (Halla Bol Chaupal): The event will kick off with a welcome address by Kalli Puri, Vice Chairperson of India Today Group.
  • Poet and speaker Kumar Vishwas will present “Apne Apne Ram”, offering a fresh take on the iconic epic figure.
  • Music will take center stage with performances by Altaf Raja, followed by actor-singer Piyush Mishra in “Tumhari Aukat Kya Hai”.
  • Folk music icon Malini Awasthi (Padma Shri) and poet/author Yatindra Mishra will collaborate for “Akhtari–Uff Ye Fasana!!”, blending storytelling with music.
  • The day will conclude with a musical evening by singer Varsha Singh Dhanoa.
