The star-studded ceremony celebrated the best of Hindi cinema from 2024, honouring outstanding achievements in acting, direction, and technical excellence. Laapataa Ladies emerged as the evening’s biggest winner, securing 13 awards, including Best Film and Best Director for Kiran Rao.

• Abhishek Bachchan honoured his iconic father Amitabh Bachchan, paying homage to a cinematic legacy that has shaped generations.
• Siddhant Chaturvedi celebrated the legendary Shammi Kapoor, reviving his signature energy and charisma through dynamic dance sequences.
• Finally, Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol transported the audience back to the ’90s, performing a medley of nostalgic hits that reminded fans why their on-screen chemistry remains unforgettable.
Adding to the grandeur, Straightline Worldwide curated a spectacular drone light show, transforming the night sky above EKA Arena into a mesmerizing canvas of cinematic art. Hundreds of synchronized drones created dynamic formations, highlighting Filmfare motifs and celebrating “70 Years of Bollywood Excellence”, leaving audiences spellbound.
