Italian luxury performance brand Maserati, in partnership with the VST Group, has officially opened its new flagship showroom on St. Mark’s Road in Central Bengaluru, marking a major milestone in the brand’s expansion in South India. The launch event was graced by Arun Surendra, Chairman and Managing Director, VST Group, along with key dignitaries and industry guests, who also unveiled Maserati’s latest masterpiece — the MCPura, the brand’s next-generation super sports car.
The new VST Maserati showroom has been designed as a customer-first, premium retail destination that reflects Maserati’s global brand identity. The space features a refined lounge, concierge-style delivery area, and interactive model walk-throughs, along with Fuoriserie bespoke personalization options. Clients will have direct access to Maserati’s celebrated lineup, including the Grecale SUV, the new-generation GranTurismo grand tourer, and now the MCPura, which made its grand Indian debut at the event.
Guests at the launch witnessed a dramatic unveiling of the MCPura, a moment that celebrated Maserati’s Italian design heritage and engineering innovation. Evolved from the acclaimed MC20, the MCPura features a lightweight carbon-fibre monocoque chassis and the 3.0-litre twin-turbo V6 Nettuno engine, a Maserati-patented technological breakthrough made entirely in Modena. The supercar delivers 630 PS at 7500 rpm and 720 Nm of torque, accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h in just 2.9 seconds.

Beyond its performance, the MCPura stands out for its racing-inspired design, featuring Butterfly doors that reveal the carbon-fibre structure and, in the Cielo convertible version, a pioneering electro-chromic glass roof that shifts from opaque to transparent in just one second—transforming the cabin from an intimate space to an open-sky experience.
Hand-built at Maserati’s historic plant in Modena, alongside the Nettuno engine and GT2 Stradale, the MCPura is available for built-to-order in both Coupé and Cielo (convertible) versions. It brings together race-derived technology with Italian craftsmanship, setting a new benchmark for luxury performance in India.
Speaking at the inauguration, Arun Surendra, Chairman and Group Managing Director, VST Group, said, “The debut of the Maserati MCPura alongside the opening of our first Bengaluru showroom marks a milestone for VST Group as Maserati’s official partner in South India. With a legacy of over a hundred years, we have built trusted partnerships across industries and now bring that commitment to the luxury automotive market. Our vision is to deliver a Maserati ownership experience that reflects Italian craftsmanship, global standards, and VST’s tradition of excellence.”
Philippe Claverol, Head of Maserati Overseas Region, added, “We are delighted to inaugurate this new flagship showroom in Bengaluru, which reflects Maserati’s latest retail identity and our commitment to providing an exceptional customer experience in South India. Showcasing the MCPura here underscores the importance of this market and brings the Trident’s performance legacy and design excellence closer to our clients in the region.”
Maserati’s arrival in Bengaluru marks a significant step in expanding its network in India, offering South India’s luxury car enthusiasts a seamless ownership experience backed by the brand’s legacy of design, performance, and service excellence.
