The Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI) today announced Anant Goenka as the President-Elect for the year 2025-26. The announcement was made at the FICCI National Executive Committee Meeting (NECM).
Anant Goenka, who currently serves as the Senior Vice President of FICCI, will take over from Harsha Vardhan Agarwal at the conclusion of the Chamber’s 98th Annual General Meeting scheduled for November 28-29, 2025, in New Delhi.
Anant Goenka is the Vice Chairman of the RPG Group, a USD 5 billion conglomerate with diversified interests across the tyre, infrastructure, pharma, IT, and speciality sectors. He is also the former Chairman of the Automotive Tyre Manufacturers Association (ATMA).
During his decade-long tenure (2012–2023) as Managing Director and CEO of CEAT, Anant Goenka led the company through a remarkable transformation—achieving a 25-fold increase in market capitalisation. Under his leadership, CEAT earned global recognition, including the Lighthouse designation from the World Economic Forum and the prestigious Deming Grand Prize in 2023—becoming the first tyre company in the world to receive this honour.
Before joining CEAT, Anant Goenka worked with Unilever and KEC International. His achievements have been widely acknowledged in the business community. He was awarded the Kabiller Science of Empathy Prize by the Kellogg School of Management in 2023, named Next Generation Business Leader of the Year by Forbes in 2017, and featured in The Economic Times–Spencer Stuart India’s 40 Under 40 Business Leaders list.
An alumnus of the Kellogg School of Management, where he earned his MBA, Anant Goenka also holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania.
With his appointment, FICCI is set to continue its momentum under a leader known for innovation, empathy, and transformative business leadership.
