The Goa Tourism Department has announced an Expression of Interest (EOI), inviting reputed event production companies to conceptualize, design, and execute a large-scale music festival in the state. The initiative aims to further cement Goa’s position as India’s premier destination for entertainment, culture, and tourism.
Under this EOI, the selected agency will be responsible for end-to-end planning, production, marketing, and execution of the festival at its own cost, ensuring that the event imposes no financial burden on the state government. The project is envisioned as a self-sustaining cultural extravaganza that not only showcases music and art but also enhances Goa’s appeal as a year-round destination for domestic and international travelers.
Officials from the Goa Tourism Department emphasized that this initiative aligns with the government’s vision to promote high-quality experiential tourism and support creative collaborations between the private sector and the state. The festival is expected to attract a wide audience, generate significant economic activity, and boost local employment opportunities in the tourism and hospitality sectors.
Interested event management companies with a proven track record in large-scale event production have been invited to submit their proposals. The deadline for submission of bids is October 8, 2025.
