Boat has elevated Gaurav Nayyar to the position of Chief Executive Officer, a decision approved by the company’s Board of Directors.
Nayyar has served as Boat’s Chief Operating Officer for the past three years and brings over 20 years of strategic and operational experience, including eight years at Bain & Company, where he was a Partner, before joining boAt.
As part of the leadership transition, co-founder Sameer Mehta will assume the role of Executive Director, focusing on long-term strategy while supporting Nayyar in his new responsibilities. Co-founder Aman Gupta will continue his association with boAt as a Non-Executive Director on the Board.
The company said in a statement, “This transition marks a significant step in strengthening the Company’s management for its next phase of growth, while ensuring the founding team continues to play a guiding role in shaping the future.”
