Indian hip-hop has achieved a historic milestone with Badshah’s The Unfinished Tour in North America, which grossed over $6 million (₹52 crores) across six major U.S. cities. The tour attracted more than 45,000 fans to arenas in New Jersey, Virginia, Oakland, Seattle, Dallas, and Chicago.
With a massive production cost of $2 million, the shows marked the most extravagant staging ever seen in Indian hip-hop. Special guest appearances by Nora Fatehi, Mickey Singh, and Bohemia, along with support acts Aastha Gill and Badal, added to the spectacle.
Beyond the music, Badshah used his platform to raise awareness and rally global support for victims of recent natural disasters in Punjab and Himachal Pradesh.
Badshah’s journey from earning just ₹200 in his early days to becoming one of India’s richest and most celebrated rappers mirrors the growth of the Indian hip-hop scene itself. His international breakthrough sets a benchmark similar to Diljit Dosanjh’s global success for Punjabi music and Arijit Singh’s influence in Hindi music.
On the professional front, Badshah has also been making waves in fashion, with appearances at Paris Men’s Fashion Week and New York Fashion Week. Alongside releasing fresh independent and Bollywood music, he is expected to explore global brand partnerships this year.
