Gully Gang Entertainment Signs Rising Mumbai Rapper 99side

Gully Gang Entertainment, India’s leading urban record label founded by multi-platinum artist DIVINE and manager Chaitanya Kataria, has announced the signing of underground rapper 99side (Yash Dandge).

Hailing from Bamanwada in Vile Parle, 99side has quickly emerged as one of Mumbai’s most dynamic voices, known for blending sharp Hindi lyrics with street-rooted storytelling. His breakout tracks—‘Gondhal,’ ‘Chowk Pe,’ ‘Du Buckle’—and the viral anthem ‘Subhe Subhe’ have earned him critical acclaim. He also showcased his commanding stage presence while reaching the finals of MTV Hustle 4.0.

Chaitanya Kataria, Co-Founder, Gully Gang Entertainment said, “99side represents the evolution of Mumbai’s sound – bold, original, socially conscious and full of energy. We’re thrilled to partner with him and build something meaningful in the years ahead, continuing to elevate the city’s unique musical voice. At Gully Gang, our goal has always been to create opportunities, break barriers, and amplify underground culture. This collaboration is a natural step in pushing that movement forward.”

The signing comes at a time of rapid growth for Indian hip-hop. By bringing on a talent whose raw, grassroots perspective aligns with the label’s ethos, Gully Gang aims to continue shaping the urban music scene through live experiences like Gully Fest, artist development via Gully Gang Records, and collaborations with brands to extend cultural impact.

Founded in 2019 as DIVINE’s imprint, Gully Gang Entertainment has become a major cultural platform, focusing on discovering new hip-hop talent, producing live events, creating brand content, and developing merchandise. The label remains committed to evolving and expanding India’s urban music ecosystem.
