The Federation of Hotel & Restaurant Associations of India (FHRAI) has announced the 55th edition of its Annual Convention, to be held from September 18 to 20, 2025, in Bengaluru. Themed “FutureScape 2047: Redefining Hospitality for a New India”, the three-day convention will bring together leaders from hospitality, tourism, government, and allied sectors to envision the future of Indian hospitality as the nation approaches its centenary year of independence.
Speaking about the event, K. Syama Raju, President, FHRAI said, “The 55th Annual Convention is a milestone moment for the Indian hospitality industry. Through the theme ‘FutureScape 2047, we aim to spark conversations that will shape the roadmap for the next two decades of hospitality and tourism in India. Bengaluru, with its vibrant culture and global outlook, is the ideal setting for this dialogue on innovation, sustainability, and growth.”
The inaugural ceremony on September 18 will feature a distinguished line-up of guests. Chief Minister of Karnataka Siddaramaiah will give the inaugural address, while Defence Minister Rajnath Singh will deliver a special address. Other dignitaries include Deputy Chief Minister of Karnataka D.K. Shivakumar, Minister of Civil Aviation K Ram Mohan Naidu, Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy, and Tourism Minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat.
Day two of the convention will host sessions on themes such as building globally iconic Indian brands, rebranding spiritual tourism, shaping India’s trillion-dollar experience economy, expanding hospitality in tier 2 and 3 cities, and redefining revenue management strategies.
On the final day, September 20, discussions will spotlight sustainable hospitality, technological innovations, culinary identity, and cybersecurity. The convention will conclude with the valedictory session and the FHRAI Hospitality Awards, with the valedictory address delivered by V Vidyavathi, IAS, Secretary Tourism, Government of India.
