In a landmark initiative aimed at transforming Delhi into the nation’s premier destination for live entertainment, Union Sports Minister Dr. Mansukh Mandaviya, Delhi Tourism Minister Shri Kapil Mishra, and Sports Secretary Shri Hari Ranjan Rao have pledged robust support to the events industry.
During a high-level meeting by EEMA and PHDCCI, the Honourable Minister outlined a comprehensive plan to reduce operational costs for event venues, including the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium and the Indira Gandhi Sports Complex.

Dr. Mansukh Mandaviya, Union Minister of Youth Affairs & Sports said, “We are committed to support Delhi as a global hub for live events and entertainment. By streamlining processes and reducing costs, we aim to foster a vibrant cultural scene that benefits both artists and audiences.”
Shri Kapil Mishra, Delhi Tourism Minister said, “Our vision is to transform Delhi into a creative capital that celebrates art, music and culture. This initiative will not only boost tourism but also create numerous employment opportunities.”
Rajeev Jain, Chair of the PHDCCI Entertainment Committee, said, “We wholeheartedly thank the Honourable Ministers for their unwavering support and for considering our representation.
