Akasa Air has announced the appointment of Naarayan T V as its Chief Marketing Officer (CMO), effective 29 August 2025. In his new role, he will oversee marketing, corporate communications & ESG, customer experience, ecommerce, customer loyalty, and partnerships. He will also serve as a member of the airline’s Executive Committee.
Naarayan brings over 20 years of experience across financial services, digital platforms, and marketing leadership. Most recently, he served as the CMO at IDFC First Bank, stepping down on 22 August 2025. His earlier stints include Kotak Securities, TimesOfMoney, Motilal Oswal Securities, and PayPal, where he led merchant marketing, marketing operations, and international merchant acquisition. Recognised as one of the top leaders in the BFSI sector, he was featured among the BW Top Marketers 2024.
