Nexus Seawoods Mall is all set to bring the spirit of Kerala to Navi Mumbai this Onam. In collaboration with Seawoods Malayali Samajam, the mall will host Onam Opulence 2025 on 6th and 7th September, offering residents a vibrant celebration of culture, tradition, and festivity.
A highlight of the festivities will be a stunning 9-meter diameter Pookalam, crafted from over 225–250 kg of fresh flowers in seven vivid colours. This breathtaking floral arrangement will be on display throughout the weekend, providing visitors with a perfect backdrop for photos and an immersive visual experience.
The celebrations will also feature a lineup of Kerala’s iconic cultural performances. Attendees can look forward to traditional dances such as Thiruvathirakali, Mohiniyattam, and Kathakali, as well as Ethnic Fusion Dance, Poothappattu (mythological dance-drama), and the resonant rhythms of the Chenda Melam ensemble.
Adding to the festive atmosphere, mythological characters King Mahabali, Vamana, and Parashuraman will make a grand procession through the crowd, engaging visitors and enhancing the immersive experience. The cultural showcase will conclude with a grand fusion act, bringing together all performances in a spectacular finale.
