Accor announces the appointment of Raju Alex as CEO for South Asia

Accor has announced the appointment of Ranju Alex as its Chief Executive Officer for South Asia, covering India, Bangladesh, Pakistan, and Sri Lanka. A leading hospitality player, Accor currently operates over 70 hotels in the region, with more than 30 in the pipeline.

Ranju Alex is a highly accomplished hospitality professional with a career spanning three decades. Until recently, she was the Regional Vice President for South Asia at Marriott International, where she oversaw operations for more than 170 hotels across the region. She began her career with The Oberoi Group in 1993 and went on to hold several senior leadership roles at Marriott International. In recognition of her contributions to the industry, she was recently conferred with the prestigious Bharat Gaurav award.

Earlier this year, Accor and InterGlobe announced the creation of a new joint venture consolidating all their businesses into a single entity, subject to regulatory approvals.
