On August 21, 2025, Priyanka Khimani, one of the most influential legal voices in entertainment and founder of Women of Music India (WoMI), hosted the second edition of the Global Music Leaders Reception at Soho House, Mumbai. Powered by tech company Nothing, the evening brought together artists, executives, entrepreneurs, and innovators from across the world who are shaping the future of music and culture.
Conceived by Khimani and WoMI, the initiative spotlights India’s cultural influence on the global stage while fostering dialogue among industry leaders. What began in 2024 has already become one of the most anticipated invitation-only gatherings in the music industry.
Priyanka Khimani said, “The Global Music Leaders Reception is about building bridges—between India and the world, between business and creativity, and around the future of music. India is no longer just participating in the global conversation but we are also helping shape it. Through Women of Music India, I want to ensure that women, especially, are at the forefront of that change. This evening is where those conversations begin, and where lasting partnerships are born.”
Set against the creative backdrop of Soho House, the event also featured a curated artist showcase with soulful performances by Mansa Jimmy, Mali, Twinkle Agarwal, and Akanksha Sethi, celebrating the depth of India’s musical talent.
The evening saw participation from leading figures including Jasleen Royal, Raftaar, Natania Lalwani, Andrew Gold from Roc Nation, and senior executives from Universal Music, alongside independent artists and global decision-makers.

Nothing partnered as the cultural collaborator for the evening, aligning its ethos of design and innovation with the spirit of artistry and creativity that the gathering celebrated.
The Global Music Leaders Reception continues to grow as a key cultural platform, combining dialogue with artistic expression, and highlighting India’s role in shaping the future of global creativity.
