Oberoi Mall, one of Mumbai’s premier shopping destinations, teamed up with Hindustan Pencil’s iconic brand Nataraj to host the August edition of Kidsventure 2025, a special Independence Day celebration for children.
Kidsventure is Oberoi Mall’s signature initiative that brings engaging, kid-focused events combining fun with learning. This year’s collaboration with Nataraj created a blend of education, entertainment, and patriotism through a handwriting competition and multiple on-ground activities. The event saw enthusiastic participation, with over 300 children joining in a single day.

As part of the celebration, Nataraj showcased its patriotic Hidey range of pencils and pens featuring camouflage designs in five colours, each with matching sharpeners and erasers. Adding to the fun, the collection also introduced five unique characters – Ranger, Agent, Marine, Colonel, and Major Hidey – making stationery an imaginative experience for children.
Every child participating in the handwriting competition received exclusive giveaways, while the best entries won special hampers filled with Nataraj products. Kids also enjoyed a Snakes and Ladders game, a drawing competition using Nataraj colours, and even performed patriotic songs. The highlight of the day was the appearance of Hidey, the Nataraj mascot, who joined the celebrations for a cheerful meet-and-greet.
