The Sudha Reddy Foundation, in association with the MEIL Foundation, has officially unveiled the much-awaited 2nd Edition of the Pink Power Run, a movement dedicated to raising mass awareness and mobilising funds in the fight against breast cancer. The announcement took place at an exclusive press conference at Trident Hyderabad, setting the stage for what promises to be the city’s most inspiring run of the year.
With its tagline “Stride and Shine”, this year’s edition calls on participants to move forward with courage, hope, and resilience. The theme honours survivors, supports those still in the fight, and reminds every participant that their stride can spark change and their shine can inspire an entire community.
Adding star power to the announcement were Miss World 2025, Opal Suchata Chuangsri—a breast cancer survivor herself—and Miss Asia 2025, Krishnah Gravidez, whose presence lent both glamour and gravitas to the occasion. On Sunday, September 28 2025, the two global icons will join thousands of participants at Necklace Road, transforming Hyderabad’s heart into a sea of pink in solidarity, strength, and hope.
The Pink Power Run is more than just a marathon; it is a community-driven movement that champions the life-saving importance of early detection, advocates preventive health screenings, and stands shoulder-to-shoulder with survivors. The 2025 edition will feature 10K, 5K, and 3K categories, opening its track to participants of every age, background, and fitness level. A defining feature this year will be the inclusion of women runners from rural communities, bridging the urban-rural divide in healthcare awareness and ensuring that the message of hope and prevention reaches far beyond city limits.
At the heart of Pink Power Run 2.0 lies a larger CSR vision of transforming awareness into action and compassion into measurable change. Led by philanthropist and entrepreneur Sudha Reddy, the Sudha Reddy Foundation has long championed healthcare and women’s empowerment through large-scale screening camps, awareness workshops, and survivor support programmes.
Speaking at the press conference, Reddy said, “Breast cancer awareness is not just a cause, it is a responsibility we owe to every woman. Through the Sudha Reddy Foundation and the Pink Power Run, we aim to reach women in every corner of society, from corporate boardrooms to remote villages, with the life-saving message that early detection saves lives. The support from Miss World and Miss Asia amplifies our mission on a truly global stage.”

Miss World 2025, Opal Suchata Chuangsri, shared her own journey as a survivor: “As a breast cancer survivor, I have walked through the fear, the uncertainty, and the relentless fight that this journey demands. Today, I stand here to tell every woman, in Hyderabad and across the world, that you are never alone. Knowledge, early screening, and the strength of a united community can and do save lives.” Adding her voice, Miss Asia 2025, Krishnah Gravidez, said, “This event is a reminder that true beauty is measured not by appearance, but by the actions we take, the empathy we show, and the purpose we live for. I am honoured to stand beside the Sudha Reddy Foundation in this fight. Because together, we can change the narrative on breast cancer.”
