Kitty Su, India’s pioneering voice in queer nightlife, is set to celebrate its 14th anniversary in grand style with The Battle Royale hosted at The Crystal Ballroom, The LaLiT New Delhi. Taking place on August 23 from 9:30 PM onwards, the event will feature some of India’s most powerful drag artists, fierce lip sync battles, and unforgettable performances. The evening will be a tribute to 14 years of creating safe, inclusive, and celebratory spaces for the LGBTQIA+ community across the country.
At the heart of The Battle Royale is a high-energy lip sync competition judged across categories of artistry, authenticity, stagecraft, and presence. The lineup includes top drag performers such as Emperor Naaz, Mx Stallion, Dusky Dee, Shivkanya, Legendary Karma, Valentina, Diva Sins, and Krystal Koko. Adding international flair, Sydney-based DJ Kitty Glitter will headline the music, while show-stopping performances by Beyoncé The Drag Queen and Seventeen Sins will elevate the celebration. The judging panel features two of India’s most iconic queer voices, Zeesh and Lush Monsoon, while DJ Triangle Edge and VJ Viral Web will transform the ballroom with sound and visuals.
Sharing his thoughts, Keshav Suri, Executive Director, The LaLiT Suri Hospitality Group said, “Kitty Su started as a nightclub—but it became a refuge, a stage, and a movement. Every time I see an artist take the spotlight, I’m reminded of why we began: to create a space where queer people don’t just survive—they flourish. ‘The Battle Royale’ is proof that when you bet on love, authenticity, and fierce talent, you don’t just win—you make history.”
Akshay Tyagi, Head of KSF and Diversity, Equity & Inclusion at The LaLiT Suri Hospitality Group, said, “We have always said: visibility is power. This event is a historic marker in the journey of queer India—proof that when we create platforms with intention and care, art blooms, and communities heal.”
