Neha Barjatya Steps Down as Google India’s Marketing Director After 14 Years

Neha Barjatya, who has been part of Google India’s marketing strategy for nearly 14 years, has stepped down from her role as Marketing Director.

Appointed to the position in March 2020, Barjatya led marketing initiatives across consumer apps such as Search, Gemini, and Maps, as well as Platforms & Devices, including Pixel, Android, and the Play Store. Her tenure marked a significant phase in India’s digital growth and adoption of Google’s products and services.

Before joining Google, Barjatya built her marketing expertise at leading Indian media firms. She headed Marketing for Branded Content at Viacom18 and held earlier roles at Zee Turner and Lintas.

Google India has not yet announced her successor or who will take over the marketing leadership.
