Music industry leader Sherish Shaikh has been appointed as Vice President, Talent Management & Strategy at The Hello Group India, a joint-venture between international entertainment conglomerate The Hello Group and Sony Music Entertainment India, marking an exciting new chapter in her illustrious career. With a track record of shaping artist careers and building business ecosystems around talent, Sherish will now oversee divisions including end-to-end artist development, strategic partnerships, and business expansion initiatives for the India operations of the global music and entertainment powerhouse.
In her new role, Sherish will spearhead The Hello Group’s vision of blending creativity with commerce by driving artist acquisitions, negotiating high-value deals across recording, publishing, brand partnerships, live, and media, and crafting long-term career roadmaps for a diverse talent roster. She will also focus on building strategic alliances with labels, platforms, and brands, while overseeing cross-functional teams to deliver best-in-class artist services.
A seasoned executive known for her artist-first philosophy and strategic foresight, Sherish previously led the music division at Exceed Entertainment and served as VP, Strategist at TM Ventures, where she managed some of India’s most celebrated artists.
