Pentagon Events brought COLORS TV’s new celebrity couple reality show Pati Patni Aur Panga – Jodiyon Ka Reality Check to life with a wedding‑themed launch event held in Mumbai on 31st July, the day before the series premiered on 2 August 2025.
The event was designed to echo the show’s theme—celebrating the real ups and downs of marital life through traditional Indian wedding festivities. Guests and participating celebrity couples—including Gurmeet Choudhary‑Debina Bonnerjee, Hina Khan‑Rocky Jaiswal, Rubina Dilaik‑Abhinav Shukla, Avika Gor‑Milind Chandwani, Swara Bhasker‑Fahad Ahmad, Geeta Phogat‑Pawan Kumar, and Sudesh & Mamta Lehri—arrived dressed in traditional wedding attire and were welcomed with a live brass band, creating an authentic baraat vibe.
Hosts and lead actors Sonali Bendre and Munawar Faruqui made a playful entrance on a decorated shaadi cycle, capturing the event’s youthful energy and light tone.
Distinguished guests included Mr. Alok Jain, President of Jio Star, Sameer Gogate, CEO of COLORS, and Shweta Dalal from Nivea, underlining the collaborative nature of the launch with key partner brands.
The evening featured an interactive element: during the event, the celebrity couples addressed their dynamics and chemistry—Debina playfully walking the stage blessing Gurmeet, and other couples sharing light-hearted stories and teasing one another on stage about everyday habits and quirks.
