The We Women Want Conclave & Shakti Awards 2025 is all set to take place on August 7, 2025, in New Delhi, hosted by iTV Network and presented by NewsX. The event celebrates the strength, stories, and leadership of women across India—from grassroots changemakers to national icons.
An extension of the popular NewsX show We Women Want, the conclave is a not-for-profit initiative that gives a platform to women’s voices, challenges, and achievements. It has consistently highlighted real issues such as menstrual hygiene, workplace harassment, parenting, and the lives of women in uniform. The platform has showcased inspiring stories of auto drivers, acid attack survivors, frontline workers, and more—making it a growing national movement.
A key highlight of the conclave is the prestigious Shakti Awards, which honour women who have turned adversity into achievement. Instituted by iTV Network and named in memory of Smt. Shakti Rani Sharma, the awards have been presented in previous years by leaders like Nitin Gadkari, Smriti Irani, and Kiran Bedi. The 2025 edition will honour women from fields including cinema, politics, medicine, entrepreneurship, civil services, and more.
The event will feature thought-provoking panel discussions on topics such as Leadership Roles, Body Positive, Women in Uniform, Work & Motherhood, Women of Today, and more. Guests of Honour include Smt. Rekha Gupta (Chief Minister of Delhi), Shri Jitendra Singh (Minister of State), and Dr. Shashi Tharoor (Keynote Speaker and Member of Lok Sabha).
An impressive speaker lineup includes Ekta Kapoor, Dia Mirza, Shabana Azmi, Sussanne Khan, Neha Dhupia, Harsimrat Kaur Badal, Nimrat Kaur, Ritu Beri, and many more leaders and change-makers across sectors. The event will also highlight stories of Drone Didis and Lakhpati Didis—women creating real impact at the grassroots level.
Dr. Aishwarya Pandit Sharma, Chairperson of iTV Network and Creator of We Women Want, said, “When we started We Women Want, the aim was clear—to create a platform where women could speak openly and be heard without judgment. What began as a weekly show has grown into a national movement. Through the Shakti Awards and the conclave, we’ve built a space that brings attention to real issues, celebrates courage, and challenges long-held stereotypes. The 2025 edition is a celebration of stories that matter—from grassroots leaders to national icons—uniting voices across sectors to push the conversation forward. This isn’t just about recognition; it’s about creating lasting impact.”
Abhay Ojha, CEO, iTV Network said, “The 2025 edition of We Women Want is a testament to how powerful storytelling, when backed by strategic intent, can deliver high-impact business outcomes. It reinforces iTV Network’s position as a platform of influence and integrity—where partners don’t just gain visibility but become part of a purpose-led movement. This initiative drives measurable brand engagement, expands our audience footprint, and strengthens long-term equity for everyone associated with it.”
The 2025 edition marks another step in We Women Want’s evolution as a leading voice for Indian women—backed by NewsX’s nationwide reach and iTV Network’s editorial strength. The platform is set to expand across more cities, sparking meaningful dialogue and empowering change.
