Singapore Tourism Board launches New MICE Perks at India Roadshow

The Singapore Tourism Board (STB) recently concluded a successful two-city B2B roadshow in New Delhi and Kochi, held from July 15 to 17, 2025. With participation from over 60 tourism partners from Singapore, the roadshow showcased the destination’s latest offerings through an interactive and immersive format.

One of the key highlights of the roadshow was the launch of a dedicated Experience Zone in New Delhi. This new setup replaced the traditional tabletop format, allowing tourism partners—including attractions, cruise lines, and Changi Airport Group—to present their offerings in a more dynamic way.

A major attraction in the Experience Zone was Sentosa’s “island within the zone,” where seven exhibitors from the resort island came together under one roof. These included Sentosa Development Corporation, Mount Faber Leisure Group, Skyline Luge Sentosa, Sentosa 4D Adventureland, Mega Adventure, Madame Tussauds Singapore, and Resorts World Sentosa.

Michael Ma, Assistant Chief Executive, Sentosa Development Corporation said, “The introduction of the Experience Zone in New Delhi marks an exciting evolution in how we connect with our key markets. By bringing Sentosa’s diverse experiences together in one immersive space, we’re not just showcasing our attractions—we are bringing a slice of Sentosa to life here in India. This is a powerful platform to demonstrate why Sentosa continues to be a preferred destination for Indian leisure travellers and MICE groups alike, and we look forward to strengthening our connections with our valued industry partners.”

In line with its focus on trade engagement, STB announced the launch of the “Singapore DMC Trade Partner Fam Support Scheme” starting 1 August 2025. This new initiative will support Singapore-based Destination Management Companies in organising familiarisation trips for Indian travel agents. The goal is to help agents better understand and sell Singapore by introducing them to the country’s latest experiences and attractions.

India remains a strong MICE market for Singapore, with over 500,000 Indian visitors arriving in the first half of 2025. The country continues to attract large incentive and corporate groups, with major events like Sun Pharma’s 6,100-delegate meet and CREDAI Natcon’s upcoming convention in Singapore, expected to host over 1,000 delegates this September.

STB India also extended its popular “Just Between Us Friends” campaign to the MICE segment. Under this programme, Indian incentive groups travelling between 1 August 2025 and 31 March 2026 will enjoy exclusive benefits from Sentosa’s partners, city-wide attractions, and travel partners such as IndiGo and Singapore Airlines.

Markus Tan, Regional Director (India, Middle East, South Asia and Africa), Singapore Tourism Board said, “The enduring strength of India-Singapore tourism reflects our deep bilateral ties and shared cultural connections. As we celebrate 60 years of diplomatic relations, we’re introducing fresh ways to showcase Singapore’s evolving story to Indian travellers. Our enhanced engagement programs and new travel experiences demonstrate our long-term commitment to this important market.”
