HighLevel Hosts Landmark Global Retreat for 1000+ Team Members in the Maldives

HighLevel, the AI-powered platform designed for agencies, marketers, and entrepreneurs, recently brought together more than 1000 team members from across the world for a memorable company retreat in the Maldives. Held from July 12–20, the retreat marked one of the largest in-person gatherings by a fully remote company.

With over 2 million businesses relying on HighLevel and more than 1.6 billion messages sent each month through its ecosystem, the company has experienced rapid growth. This retreat was a celebration of that progress—and, more importantly, the people who made it possible.

Varun Vairavan, Co-Founder, HighLevel said, “We’ve built something truly special, a global company that runs on trust, autonomy, and shared purpose. But even in a remote-first world, some things are better face-to-face. This retreat is a reflection of our growth and our people, and the kind of culture we want to keep building.”

Set against the scenic beauty of white sand beaches and crystal-clear waters, the retreat blended fun with purpose. Team members enjoyed activities like water sports and dolphin cruises, alongside collaborative workshops and company-wide events such as the Golden Hour Sundowner and the Hightide Gala Night.

For many participants, this was their first in-person meeting with colleagues they’ve worked with remotely. The retreat offered a chance to step back from screens, reconnect with the company’s mission, and realign for the future.

Q Hamirani, Chief People Officer, HighLevel said, “Bringing 1000+ people from around the world to one place is no small feat. But we believe our unique culture is our competitive advantage,” said. “This retreat is about investing in the relationships that drive our performance. It’s how we stay grounded, aligned, and inspired as we scale.”

With more than 49 billion messages sent through the platform to date—and new AI-powered tools continuing to roll out—HighLevel’s momentum shows no signs of slowing down. This retreat highlighted the company’s belief that strong culture is key to sustaining success: built intentionally, shared collectively, and strengthened with every milestone.
