EEMA Edu Taskforce organises INSPIRE from Jul 13-15, 2025

The Event and Entertainment Management Association (EEMA) is set to host one of the most anticipated gatherings in the live entertainment industry, from July 13 to 15, uniting creative visionaries, business leaders, and innovators under one roof. The three-day convention promises deep insights, lively discussions, and invaluable networking opportunities—all designed to propel the industry forward.

Day 1: From Backstage to Boardroom

The convention opens on July 13 at the JW Marriott with the Inaugural Ceremony, setting the stage for thought-provoking conversations. The highlight sessions include:

  • From Backstage to Boardroom: Sunaman Sood, Managing Director of Acendo Capital Advisors, will dive into financial strategies crucial for scaling, fundraising, and successful exits in live entertainment businesses.
  • The Future of Storytelling: Harish Prabhu, Founder of Postudio and ex-Disney Star executive, will explore how technology-driven experiences are reshaping the art of storytelling in events and entertainment.

The day will conclude with a networking dinner featuring a performance by Ash Chandler and beats from DJ Afroz, fostering camaraderie among industry professionals.

Day 2: Culture, Creativity, and Business Strategy

Day 2 kicks off with a keynote and cohort photograph, capturing the spirit of collaboration. Sessions throughout the day address critical intersections between creativity and commerce:

  • From Emotion to Execution: Rajeev Raja, Founder and Soundsmith at Brandmusiq, will discuss the role of sound in building powerful, scalable brands.
  • Culture as a Growth Strategy: Raj Nayak, MD of House of Cheer and ex-COO of Viacom18, and former CEO APAC, Dentsu, will share insights on how visionary leaders create hyper-scalable, beloved brands.
  • Thriving Under Pressure: Luke Coutinho, Founder of Holistic Nutrition – Integrative & Lifestyle Medicine, will emphasize the vital link between wellness, performance, and business success.
  • Scaling to Legacy: Ashish Bhasin, Founder of The Bhasin Consulting Group, will provide strategies for achieving exponential growth while building a lasting legacy.

The evening will transition to W Goa, where Hema Sardesai and her band will entertain guests, followed by DJ Afroz ensuring the night ends on a high note.

The convention concludes on July 15 with a relaxed schedule, including breakfast at the Westin, informal lunches, and dinners at undisclosed venues—allowing deeper connections to form in a casual environment.

One of the standout sessions is scheduled for Day 2 evening, titled From Mud Pits to Million Dollar Deals, where Suhail Chandhok, CEO of U Mumba (a Unilazer Venture), will reveal how Kabaddi transformed from a traditional sport into a thriving commercial enterprise.
