Art Meets Architecture: Runwal Raaya and Tao Art Gallery Create an Immersive Experience

Runwal Realty recently joined hands with Tao Art Gallery to host The Voracious Visual — an evocative art showcase that turned the sales gallery of Runwal Raaya, Worli, into a vibrant canvas of creativity. The event reflected a shared commitment to legacy, craftsmanship, and timeless expression.

Rooted in its brand promise of “Building for Generations to Come,” Runwal Realty envisions homes designed to become part of a family’s story, much like art becomes part of cultural memory. This collaboration bridged architecture and art, offering guests a curated experience blending timeless design and artistic creation.

Set against the backdrop of Runwal Raaya’s 4-acre development, the showcase featured works by leading contemporary artists including Jaideep Mehrotra, Kalpana Shah, Hitesh Gilder, Nahid Merchant, Ram D Kumbhar, Smita Mandlik, and Viraj Khanna. Curated by Urvi Kothari of Tao Art Gallery, each piece was thoughtfully placed to interact with the space, blurring the lines between structure and art.

Adding star power to the evening, actor and art enthusiast Neha Dhupia attended the event, accompanied by Angad Bedi.

The gathering brought together personalities from the worlds of art, design, and real estate, highlighting how visual storytelling can transform spaces into deeply emotive experiences.

Sandeep Runwal, Managing Director, Runwal Realty said, “At Runwal Realty, we don’t just build homes — we shape generational legacies. This partnership with Tao Art Gallery was an extension of that vision. We believe that great design and great art share the same purpose: to endure, to inspire, and to elevate everyday life.”

Sanjana Shah, Creative Director, Tao Art Gallery said, “Art can have a very synergistic and inspiring relationship with the space it occupies. The relationship is one that creates a merging visual dialogue. This is exactly what our collaboration with Runwal aspires to do – curating art specifically for spaces that can holistically make it come alive. The art on your walls is more than just a collection. It reflects your persona and is crucial to expressing who you are. The aim with this tie up is to create more awareness about the value of art in intimate spaces like your home and how real estate and art is very much a marriage made in heaven.”

The evening concluded with intimate interactions with artists, conversations on spatial storytelling, and a shared appreciation for the synergy between form, function, and emotion. For many, The Voracious Visual was a reminder that homes are more than buildings — they are living galleries of human experience.
