Marriott International & Vardhman Amrante join hands to Launch Westin Hotels & Resorts in Punjab

Marriott International and Vardhman Amrante, an Oswal Group venture, have announced a strategic partnership to develop a Westin Hotels & Resorts property in Ludhiana, Punjab. The new hotel will feature 200 rooms and entail an estimated development cost of approximately ₹260 crores.

The agreement, signed in Delhi, signals a significant boost for Ludhiana’s hospitality sector. Known as a vibrant hub of commerce and culture, the city provides an ideal backdrop for the debut of the Westin brand, which emphasizes well-being and wellness-focused experiences for travelers.

Ludhiana is one of Punjab’s leading centres for industry, trade, agriculture, and logistics, with excellent connectivity to cities such as Patiala, Bathinda, Delhi, Jalandhar, Moga, and Amritsar. The upcoming hotel will be just 20 minutes from Ludhiana Railway Station, 1.5 hours from Shaheed Bhagat Singh International Airport in Chandigarh, 10–15 minutes from the city centre, and 15–20 minutes from the upcoming Halwara Airport.

The Westin Ludhiana is set to offer a range of amenities, including multiple dining options, a Lobby Bar, WestinWORKOUT® Fitness Studio, Heavenly Spa by Westin, swimming pool, and an Executive Club Lounge.
