Marriott International and Vardhman Amrante, an Oswal Group venture, have announced a strategic partnership to develop a Westin Hotels & Resorts property in Ludhiana, Punjab. The new hotel will feature 200 rooms and entail an estimated development cost of approximately ₹260 crores.
The agreement, signed in Delhi, signals a significant boost for Ludhiana’s hospitality sector. Known as a vibrant hub of commerce and culture, the city provides an ideal backdrop for the debut of the Westin brand, which emphasizes well-being and wellness-focused experiences for travelers.

The upcoming hotel will be just 20 minutes from Ludhiana Railway Station, 1.5 hours from Shaheed Bhagat Singh International Airport in Chandigarh, 10–15 minutes from the city centre, and 15–20 minutes from the upcoming Halwara Airport.
