Korea Tourism Roadshow 2025 Successfully Concludes First Leg Across Four Indian Cities

The Korea Tourism Organisation (KTO) India has successfully concluded the first phase of its Korea Tourism Roadshow 2025 across four major Indian cities—Chennai, Bengaluru, Kolkata, and Kochi—between April and May.

The roadshows were held in Chennai on April 23, Bengaluru on April 25, Kolkata on May 21, and Kochi on May 23. Each event brought together over 10 Destination Management Companies (DMCs) from Korea, connecting them directly with Indian travel professionals through a series of B2B travel marts and K-Gala Nights.

These multi-city events were designed to boost Korea’s tourism outreach in southern and eastern India. They focused on direct trade networking, destination presentations, and immersive cultural experiences.

Myong Kil Yun, Regional Director, India & SAARC Countries, Korea Tourism Organisation (KTO) said, “Our goal through these roadshows has been to create meaningful, long-term relationships with the Indian travel trade and to showcase Korea’s evolving offerings in a fresh and culturally immersive way. We are grateful for the overwhelming response in all four cities and remain committed to supporting our trade partners in expanding Korea’s footprint in India’s outbound travel landscape.”

Each roadshow included a Korea Travel Mart, which attracted travel agents from various segments including leisure, luxury, FIT, and GIT. The K-Gala Nights welcomed trade partners and stakeholders for strategic discussions and gave them a taste of Korean culture and cuisine. A highlight at the events was a themed promotional booth inspired by Korea’s traditional markets, offering attendees the chance to enjoy authentic Korean street food.

Through these engagements, KTO India aims to further position Korea as a culturally rich and diverse travel destination, while fostering stronger collaborations with the Indian travel industry.
