He reflects on his enduring love for the stage, his desire to collaborate with leading industry players, his exciting plans for the future, and much more.

Q. What does being a part of the 11th edition of Entertainers Connect mean to you? How do you see it levelling up your work and boosting your presence in the industry?

Talent is abundant, but to truly shine, one needs the right platforms and meaningful connections. That’s exactly what Entertainers Connect offers. I believe the 11th edition of Entertainers Connect is a fantastic opportunity to engage with some of the best minds in the business, be it top-tier wedding planners, leading corporate event organisers, or fellow artists. It’s a vibrant community that fosters collaboration, creativity, and visibility. Being part of this gathering not only allows me to showcase my work on a larger stage but also helps me build relationships that can elevate my journey as a performer.

Q. What inspired you to choose this path as your profession? Now that you’ve spent time in the industry, what shifts or positive differences have you witnessed over time?

Through all the ups and downs life has thrown my way, one thing has remained constant—my love for the stage. While circumstances and people may have changed, the joy I feel while hosting—and the joy I’m able to create for others—has always been my guiding force. That deep sense of connection and the ability to make moments truly memorable is what drew me to this profession. Very few careers offer the chance to leave a lasting impression on people’s most cherished occasions, and being a Master of Ceremonies is one of them.

Over the years, I’ve seen the events industry evolve tremendously. I genuinely believe it’s one of the most adaptive industries out there. No matter the challenges—be it a global pandemic or shifting audience expectations—we find a way to rise, reimagine, and reinvent. The post-COVID embrace of technology has been nothing short of phenomenal. But what excites me most is how artists—anchors, choreographers, singers, and more—are now empowered to become strong personal brands. The internet, along with platforms like Entertainers Connect, has opened up a world of possibilities, giving artists visibility, voice, and value like never before.

Q. How do you stay relevant and innovative in such a dynamic and evolving entertainment industry?

In an industry as fast-paced and competitive as entertainment, staying relevant and innovative requires constant effort—and a mindset geared toward continuous learning. I truly believe that to be the best, you must learn from the best. I make it a point to closely follow industry leaders and observe how they adapt to new trends and challenges. Their journeys often offer invaluable insights.

Beyond that, I regularly take time to brainstorm fresh ideas, explore new techniques, and push creative boundaries to ensure my work remains distinct and engaging. In today’s digital age, staying visible is just as important as staying relevant. Social media plays a huge role in that. I actively curate and share content on my platforms to keep my audience engaged and to showcase the versatility and energy I bring to the stage. It’s this combination of learning, adapting, and sharing that helps me evolve and thrive in such a dynamic industry.

Q. What’s next for you? Are there any specific projects, formats, or collaborations you’re aiming to explore?

It’s been an incredibly fulfilling year professionally, especially with the wide range of wedding and corporate events I’ve had the privilege to host—and honestly, I feel like I’m just getting started! There are some exciting projects lined up, and I’m genuinely looking forward to bringing my energy and passion to those upcoming stages.

Looking ahead, I’m eager to collaborate with leading destination wedding and corporate event planners to create unforgettable experiences together. One project that’s particularly close to my heart is an industry-specific podcast—something I’ve been conceptualizing for a while now. If all goes well, I hope to bring it to life this year. It’ll be a platform to share stories, insights, and conversations from within the world of live events and entertainment—something I believe the industry will truly benefit from.

Q. What’s your go-to trick for winning over a tough crowd? Do you have a mantra or phrase that you say to yourself before every performance?

My background in journalism has instilled in me a deep respect for the power of research, and that’s my secret weapon when it comes to winning over a tough crowd. I firmly believe that being well-informed about the client, brand, product, and event provides a solid foundation for connecting with any audience. When you’ve done your homework, you’re equipped with the right words, the right tone, and the confidence to adapt on the fly.

Another habit that really helps is arriving early to the venue. It allows me to soak in the energy, understand the vibe, and get a real sense of the audience. That intuitive feel often shapes how I approach the event, and it makes a big difference in establishing a genuine connection.

As for my personal mantra, I always take a moment before going on stage to remind myself, “You’re here because you’re the best man for the job. Now go out there and do what you do best.” That simple affirmation grounds me and fuels my performance every single time.

Q. What advice or message would you give to aspiring artists?

My advice to aspiring artists is simple but powerful: don’t compare your journey to someone else’s—everyone has their own path, their own pace, and their own story. Focus on honing your craft, stay consistent, and always strive to be a better version of yourself than you were yesterday.

Patience is key. If you’re truly dedicated and put in the hard work, success will find its way to you, sometimes when you least expect it. And most importantly, if you seek appreciation and respect, start by giving it to yourself. You’ll be amazed at how everything around you begins to shift when you believe in your own worth.
