Zee TV has announced the appointment of Shaurya Sharma as its new Head of Marketing – Vice President. In this role, Sharma will be responsible for driving the channel’s marketing strategy and strengthening audience engagement across platforms.
Sharma shared the news of his appointment via LinkedIn, marking a new chapter in his 13-year career spanning the media and consumer sectors.
Before joining Zee TV, Sharma served as the Cluster Marketing Head at Sun TV Network, where he handled marketing operations for Sun Neo, Sun Marathi, and Sun Bangla. He also held a senior leadership role at Shadowfax as Senior Director – Head of Marketing.
A significant part of Sharma’s career was spent at Disney Star, where he worked for nearly six years. He held multiple positions, most notably as Content and Digital Marketing Lead, where he led campaigns across traditional and digital platforms.
Earlier in his journey, Sharma held key marketing roles at Pernod Ricard and United Spirits (Diageo India), giving him a strong foundation in brand and customer marketing.
His appointment comes at a time of ongoing organisational changes at Zee TV, signaling the network’s focus on strengthening its marketing leadership and strategy.
