The Madhya Pradesh League (MPL) has announced Adani Group, one of India’s leading conglomerates, as the title sponsor for its upcoming season starting June 12 at the Shrimant Madhavrao Scindia Cricket Stadium in Shankarpur, Gwalior.
Organised by the Gwalior Division Cricket Association (GDCA) under the aegis of the Madhya Pradesh Cricket Association, this season marks a significant expansion. The men’s competition, which previously featured five teams, will now see participation from seven teams with new entries from the Bundelkhand and Chambal regions.
Shri Mahanaaryaman Scindia, Chairman, Madhya Pradesh League said, “We are happy to have Adani Group as our title sponsor. Their support and commitment towards sports development in India resonate with our vision of making MPL one of the premier cricket tournaments in the country. We look forward to an exciting season.”

Adding to the excitement, this season will see the launch of a Women’s Cricket League, running alongside the men’s matches. The women’s competition will include three teams, with one representing the capital city, Bhopal.
The jersey unveiling ceremony for all 10 franchises took place on Tuesday, revealing the new kits for both men’s and women’s teams. The event was attended by players, team officials, and dignitaries from across Madhya Pradesh, generating considerable buzz and anticipation for the upcoming season.
