Mumbai witnessed a landmark event as Nova Saki Media successfully launched the first-ever GoFlo Run at the MMRDA Grounds, BKC, in December bringing together hundreds of women in a powerful celebration of fitness, community, and menstrual health awareness.

At the helm of this initiative was Anita Lobo, former national-level athlete and Director of GoFlo Run, whose commitment to women’s health set the tone for a transformative morning. The run was flagged off by Lobo alongside actor and GoFlo Run Director Neha Dhupia, and actor-humanitarian Sonu Sood—both of whom are known for their advocacy of social impact and gender equity.
The event saw participation and support from public figures including Siddharth Nigam, Saiyami Kher, Dr. Nozer Sheriar, fitness coach Brinston Miranda, Athletics coach Ayesha Billimoria, and celebrity dermatologist and trichologist Dr. Rickson Peirera. Their presence elevated the occasion into a movement that went far beyond athletics.
In a significant step toward social change, GoFlo Run partnered with Centre for Catalyzing Change (C3) to donate Navya Kits on the occasion of Menstrual Hygiene Day, providing adolescent girls in under-resourced communities the tools and education to manage their periods with dignity.
Neha Dhupia, Director, GoFlo Run said, “I still ask myself—why is there still so much shame and silence around something as natural as periods? That question sparked GoFlo Run. Last December, for the first time, hundreds of girls and women ran together to create a space where menstrual health is not whispered about, but embraced. With every woman who ran, a girl in a remote community received a Navya Kit—giving her the tools to manage her period safely and with dignity. Let’s dream bigger, so next time even more girls across India feel seen, safe, and strong.”

Anita Lobo, Director, GoFlo Run & Nova Saki Media said, “Thanks to the incredible women who participated in the inaugural GoFlo Run, and through our partnership with C3, we’ve been able to impact lives in West Bengal, Telangana, and Jharkhand. To every woman who showed up for her health—thank you. That gratitude also comes from every girl whose life you’ve empowered with the Navya Kit.”
Dr. Aparajita Gogoi, Executive Director, Centre for Catalyzing Change (C3) said, “The Navya Kit is designed for girls aged 10 to 13, so they understand from the start that periods are normal and nothing to be ashamed of. Each kit includes:
● Reusable sanitary pads
● A hot water bottle for cramps
● A gentle washing liquid
● A fun, easy-to-understand diary that answers questions she may be too shy to ask
All packed in a dedicated Navya Bag
We’re not just distributing products—we’re building knowledge, confidence, and lifelong healthy habits.”
